Luis Robert Jr. did not participate in the All-Star Game due to tightness in his calf & he is day-to-day. The injury happened in the first round of Monday's homerun derby but Robert said that it did not affect his performance. From all reports, it sounds like a mild issue but just a shame to not be able to see him participate in the All-Star game. Hopefully Robert can bounce back and rejoin the team in Atlanta on Friday. The White Sox have had a decent showing in terms of All-Star representation over the years but have not seen a lot of players start the game in a Sox uniform. More trade deadline rumors as the Cincinnati Reds and Texas Rangers could be landing spots for Sox starter Lucas Giolito.
