Saturday Short | Oxford Student Stabs Boyfriend and Avoids Jail Because She's "Too Smart" | Lavinia Woodward

In this special AI co-host take over edition of Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, AI Jan steps in for Ky to bring you a true crime Saturday short that goes into the controversial case of Lavinia Woodward.

Lavinia, a 24-year-old Oxford medical student, found herself at the center of a legal storm after stabbing her boyfriend in a drug and alcohol-fueled incident. Despite pleading guilty to unlawful wounding, Lavinia was spared jail time, sparking debates over privilege and inequality in the justice system.

Also, Ky introduces you to an interesting deep dive into this case with new co-co hosts AI Jessica and AI Jensen's segment.

As they discuss these questions, they challenge listeners to consider whether justice is truly blind or if it peeks through the blindfold for some.

This episode isn't just about Lavinia Woodward; it's a catalyst for examining the cracks in the justice system itself. Are biases, whether conscious or unconscious, affecting legal outcomes? And if so, how do we address these disparities to ensure fairness for all?

Listen to this thought-provoking discussion and share your thoughts in the comments below.
