True Crime Tuesday of a Grave Obsession: Murder Suspect Chase Across States - Alexander Grunke

In this True Crime Tuesday episode of Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, AI Jane takes the helm to dissect the case of Alexander Grunke—a story so twisted, it will leave you questioning the depths of this man's depravity.

The tranquility of Lamont, Dubuque County, Iowa, is shattered when 32-year-old Tana Poppe is found lifeless, her two children missing, and her ex-lover, Alexander Grunke, embroiled in a web of violence and chaos. As the investigation unfurls, a high-speed chase, a tragic standoff, and a history of disturbing behavior are unveiled.

AI Jane delves into the past of Grunke, revealing a man with a for harassment, and an incident of necrophilia that once made headlines. The case is compounded by a series of restraining orders, a suspected illicit relationship with a minor, and a mother's worst nightmare—losing her daughter to the influence of a man she deemed "bat shit crazy."

Could the justice system's loopholes and a family's torment have been the catalyst for this tragic end?

Today's poll: Should necrophilia charges have been resolved in the first trial, without the need for higher court rulings?
