A conversation with Owen Miller, plus a scary Willy Adames injury and Jesse Winker's struggles (05.29.2023)

A scary injury to Willy Adames and a bad weekend series against San Francisco clouded a week that nonetheless ended with the Brewers still clinging to first place in the National League Central. Brewers reporter Todd Rosiak and host JR Radcliffe discuss the fallout of losing Adames in such a scary manner. It's the latest injury for the team to navigate, though the team's starting-pitching depth had a good week (we didn't even mention Julio Teheran!). Jesse Winker's struggles have become one of the toughest things for the offense to overcome. Ken Rosenthal said earlier in the week that Corbin Burnes might be the top pitcher available on the trade market; does that sound plausible? Plus, a Remembrew When that looks back at a swift and memorable doubleheader in 1971.

Then, JR sits down with one of the hottest hitters in the league, Milwaukee native Owen Miller, who talks about his memories at Miller Park, the surging Wisconsin baseball scene and his role as an opponent in an unforgettable Brewers moment two years ago.
