Yukon Metals Targets Porphyry Core After Viper Drill Results At AZ
Yukon Metals CEO Jim Coates joins Ian Wagner to discuss drilling at the Viper prospect on the AZ project in western Yukon. Three deep holes intersected porphyry-style alteration and copper, gold, and molybdenum mineralization, with copper values generally increasing at depth. Coates says the results suggest drilling reached the upper levels or margins of a larger system. Soil sampling and geophysical surveys point to a prospective corridor extending east and southeast of the holes. Viper is now the company’s priority target at AZ. Yukon Metals plans to use this year’s results to guide drilling toward a potentially higher-grade core next year.
