Djokovic Beats Medvedev this time, for Paris Title | Monday Match Analysis ft. Gruskin

Novak Djokovic rematched Daniil Medvedev for the first time since their monumental US Open final, this time at the Paris Masters indoors in Bercy. Djokovic problem-solved his way to victory after a difficult first set, winning his 57th Masters title to pass Rafael Nadal, just one say after clinching the year-end number one record. Gill discusses the Djokovic-Medvedev head-to-head, why this was the best Djokovic performance since Roland Garros, and how serve and volley made the difference for Novak. After that, Alex Gruskin of Cracked Racquets joins the show for continued discussion of Paris as well as the NextGen Finals in Milan and the ATP Finals in Turin, as both events have locked in their fields. 00:00 intro 01:35 Djokovic-Medvedev H2H 05:50 Rating Novak's Performance 08:40 Serve & Volley Djokovic 15:40 Forehand Mismatch 18:40 Rally Tolerance 22:50 Alex Gruskin --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/monday-match-analysis/support
