Ep. 605 - Mark Stuckey - BBC One’s The Repair Shop’s electronics expert

Mark Stuckey is the much-loved electronics expert from BBC One’s The Repair Shop, where he brings treasured radios, televisions and vintage technology back to life. But there’s far more to Mark than electronics. For decades he was a professional magician, before working behind the scenes on Red Dwarf and developing projects with legendary producers Gerry Anderson and Peter Rogers — all under an alter ego. His extraordinary life, including family estrangement, a devastating house fire and his relentless quest to understand how things work, is told in his new memoir Bright Spark, published on 24 September .

Mark Stuckey is our guest in episode 605 of My Time Capsule and he chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things he’d like to put in a time capsule; four he’d like to preserve and one he’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
