60: Encounters Over the Capitol: The UFO Frenzy of '52

In this spine-chilling episode, we zoom into the mysterious skies of Washington D.C. during the eerie summer of 1952, when the night was anything but quiet. Known as the "Invasion of Washington," this supernatural spectacle began when air traffic controllers at Washington National Airport, including the sharp-eyed Edward Nugent and his boss Harry Barnes, spotted baffling blips on their radars. These weren't your ordinary planes; they zipped and zoomed with bewildering speed and agility, performing jaw-dropping aerial feats that left even seasoned pilots scratching their heads.

As the plot thickened and the skies buzzed with unexplained activity, the military scrambled fighter jets to chase down these enigmatic visitors. Yet, every attempt to catch these fleeting shadows proved futile, with the UFOs darting away as if playing a cosmic game of tag. Multiple radar confirmations from sources like Andrews Air Force Base lent a spooky seriousness to the sightings, turning skeptical whispers into alarmed conversations. Strap in and hold onto your hats as we unravel the tangled tale of the 1952 Washington D.C. UFO sightings, a night that turned the capital into a stage for one of the most mystifying aerial dramas in history.
