Can the NFL follow the lead of other leagues if they resume play?
Professional leagues are trying to figure out how to get back on the field. The latest proposal comes from Major League Baseball and involves playing games in Arizona exclusively and sequestering players and staff. Meanwhile, the NBA doesn’t seem close to any decision on resuming its season. The NFL doesn’t have games to cancel and is still full-steam ahead, hoping to get the season started on time in September. Mary Kay Cabot, Dan Labbe and Scott Patsko talked about what these plans could mean for the NFL, if anything, and whether they think the season will start on time. Then, they talked about NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah’s latest mock draft, which has the Browns landing Isaiah Simmons at No. 10 overall. Could the dynamic playmaker end up on the Browns?
