4. Save/invest 20% of your income
5. Don't get into debt
6. Hire professionals/don't take advice from broke people
7. Diversify your portfolio
8. Hedge your bets and losses
9. Invest in yourself
10. Calculate the true cost of purchases
11. Wait on impulse purchases
12. Don't delegate the responsibility of your finances
