"Why haven't they trained for it?!" | Ep.8: Penalty Shootdown | Are penalties in hurling fair? | Word On The Street

Hello!

And welcome to our podcast - Word On The Street!

Every week, Susanna, Eve, and Rachel take a major sporting event or topic and head to the streets to find out what you, the public, think.

This week, we're talking all things penalty shootouts, after the controversial Munster Hurling Final on Saturday saw Cork triumph over Limerick (Rachel is still celebrating). And even though Susanna is in sunny Spain, she's still here with Eve at the helm to discuss if penalties are fair, comparisons to other sports, and what possible alternatives there are.
