West of Memphis: Did Snapping Turtles Free the Memphis 3? | Documentary Review

Three teenagers got sentenced for murder because they wore black and wrote dark poetry, and the real evidence might point to the stepfather the whole time. We break down West of Memphis, the 2012 documentary that tears apart the original conviction of the West Memphis Three and builds a compelling case against Terry Hobbs. From coerced confessions and celebrity advocates to snapping turtles that explain the so-called satanic mutilation, this case has more twists than most people remember. It's a story about bad forensics, a Bible Belt jury, and a legal system that sometimes just needs someone to look the part. **Tags:** West Memphis Three, West of Memphis documentary, satanic panic true crime, true crime documentary review
