Don't Buy this in Tasmania 2026! Detailed Property breakdown

What looks like a great property deal online can sometimes hide serious red flags. In this episode, Todd Sloan is joined by Simon Loo as they review a real property submission from listener Lynne Higgs to determine whether it's a smart long term investment or one to walk away from.

As Simon breaks down the listing, he highlights several factors many buyers miss when evaluating a property remotely, from surrounding infrastructure and shared access to potential renovation cover ups and land issues. The discussion shows how important it is to look beyond the photos and understand the fundamentals that actually drive long-term investment performance.

This episode is a great reminder that a beautiful view or a polished listing doesn't always equal a great deal. If you want to sharpen your property analysis skills and learn how experienced investors assess risk before buying, this breakdown will give you valuable insights into spotting the details that can make or break a property investment.
