A Call From the Dead? The Phantom Phone That Dialed Itself | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC!

Some houses warn you before you ever touch the doorknob. His place in Tacoma did—air like lead on the walk up, worse in the hallway where a tiny “Harry Potter” crawlspace door watched everything pass. One night, she woke frozen, eyes the only thing that still belonged to her. At the foot of the bed: a shadow man—not on the wall, but there—standing, staring, waiting. The moment she blinked, he vanished—and control slipped back into her body.

Years later in Roy, Washington, it wasn’t a teenage dare. It was home. A 1930s farmhouse stacked with antiques, one corner that felt like it was breathing. Then her boss asked a question that iced her spine: “Do you know you called me at 1:30 A.M.?” Missed call. Voicemail. Faint breathing. Only… her phone showed no call at all.

She believes an ancestor rides with her—protective, present—but heavy spirits still find her. Are they tied to the antiques, the house, or her? Press play. Decide if this is a case of residual imprint, attachment… or a home that refuses to be alone.
