A Text from the Dead? | Real Ghost Stories

Nick from Wisconsin, who grew up in a home where the basement was never quiet. It started with footsteps—slow, deliberate, climbing the stairs when no one was there. One night the basement door swung open on its own, sending him running for his life. But the haunting didn’t end there. Years later, after naming the unseen presence “Sam,” Nick discovered a terrifying message typed onto his phone by unseen hands—a full paragraph of nonsense with one clear phrase: “I wish I could not go home.”

Then, another listener shares a ghost story passed down from 1997—a mother alone in her kitchen when the TV in the basement suddenly blasted to full volume. Her daughters were upstairs, terrified, and the strange events didn’t stop there. Soon the phone began to ring over and over again—each time with silence on the other end. Months later, they discovered that their recently deceased uncle’s widow was experiencing the exact same phantom calls. Was it coincidence… or a loved one trying to reach through the static?
