Borley Rectory stood in a small English village, but over time it became one of the most famous haunted houses in the world.

Long before paranormal investigator Harry Price arrived, members of the Bull family and other witnesses had already reported strange footsteps, moving objects, and sightings of a dark female figure believed to be a nun. Later residents described bells ringing by themselves, unexplained voices, objects being thrown, mysterious writing on the walls, and activity that seemed to turn the rectory into something far more than an old Victorian house.

Then Harry Price made Borley famous. His investigations helped create the legend, but they also raised questions that still haven’t been settled.

Borley Rectory was destroyed decades ago.
