The Demon That Spoke Through the Baby Monitor | After Midnight

He didn’t believe in ghosts. He didn’t believe in God. But disbelief doesn’t protect you.

After a family funeral, he reconnected with a young cousin who claimed something dark had followed her for years. Scratches appeared overnight. Voices whispered through walls. He tried to reason it away — until the haunting followed him.

It began with a voice on the baby monitor — soft, steady, speaking his name. Toys moved on their own. The air froze in seconds. Then his wife felt the bed sink beside her, as if a small body had climbed in… but no one was there. When he looked in the dark reflection of the TV, a figure stood behind him — human-shaped, silent, watching.

Research led him to one word repeated again and again: Incubus. A presence that feeds on fear, binding itself to families, passing between bloodlines. The more he denied it, the closer it came.

What began as coincidence became a shared haunting — two relatives marked by something they never invited, something that didn’t need belief to exist.

This is not just another ghost story. This is a true account of doubt, connection, and the terrifying proof that sometimes the supernatural doesn’t ask for permission… it just arrives.

Because when the static hums at 3 a.m., when the whisper says your name, and when the air goes cold — you don’t have to believe in it for it to believe in you.
