“You’re Mine.” The Demon That Tried to Claim a Pastor’s Daughter | After Midnight

Some hauntings begin with fear. Lotus’s began with faith.

Born a pastor’s daughter in Denver, she was raised to cast out demons—until one started fighting back. The family’s “blessed” home in Golden, Colorado, hid rot behind the wallpaper and something breathing beneath the stairs. Toys froze to walls. Her sister was bitten by invisible teeth. Her mother was pushed down the basement steps by a black-hooded shape. Prayer didn’t stop it. It seemed to feed it.

Years later, the evil followed her into adulthood—through a fatal-looking car crash marked with the number 213, through illness, grief, and nights when she woke to whispers saying, You’re mine. Every time she turned toward God, the attacks intensified: sleep paralysis, bruises, voices that spoke through her mouth mid-sermon.

This isn’t just a haunted-house story. It’s a true account of spiritual warfare—one woman’s lifelong fight between belief and the darkness that never stopped testing it.

Lotus no longer preaches deliverance from a pulpit. She preaches it in survival. Her faith is battered but unbroken. Her message is simple: Some battles don’t end in victory. They end in endurance.
