173: The Doctor Who Eats A Raw Meat Diet For Optimal Human Health - with Dr. Robert Kiltz
This episode is going to turn everything you think you know about your health on its head. Dr. Robert Kiltz is a double board certified OBGYN and founder of one of the CYN Fertility; one of the largest clinics in the USA. He advocates for a high fat, raw meat diet for ipitmal human health, and makes the argument that the microbiome is a scam.
Even though I'm still not 100% on board with everything we discussed, this episode is incredible and it's going to shift the paradigms around how you see your health, self and wellness.
The question he's ultiamtely posing is this: "What if everything we think we know is wrong, and therefore, the foundations in which we've build all of medicine are also wrong?"
TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE:
- Plant vs animal based diets
- Raw fatty meat vs cooked meats and why fat is essential for health
- Obesity as a survival mechanism from our enironment above all else
- Challenging medical studies vs. clinical stories and evidence in health outcomes
- The dangers of fermentation and gut bacteria
- What history and anthropology teach us about real nutrition
- Medical dogma vs. lived experience
