Couple Who Gave Birth To Wrong Embryo Keeps Parental Rights After Custody Agreement With Biological Parents

A Florida couple has reached a custody agreement with the biological parents of the daughter Tiffany Score gave birth to last December. Score, along with her husband Steven Mills, believed little Shea Score Mills was their biological daughter after they had an Orlando fertility clinic implant one of three embryos they created. The couple, who is white, immediately knew there was a mixup at birth, when the baby was brown and looked nothing like either of them. After coming to an agreement with little Shea’s biological parents, they now will focus on a lawsuit against the fertility clinic, questioning how many other couples may have been impacted.
