CHRISTMAS DAY EMPOWERMENT: REMEMBERING THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

Today, as the world pauses to celebrate, let us anchor our hearts in the true reason for the season—the birth of Jesus Christ, our Greatest Gift and Everlasting Hope. More than presents or festivities, Christmas is an invitation to behold God’s extraordinary love wrapped in humility and hope.Let’s reflect on a powerful, seldom-quoted scripture from the prophet Isaiah, illuminating the depth of what God gave us this day:

“Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.” — Isaiah 49:1 (NIV)From the beginning, God had a purpose and a calling—not just for Jesus, but for YOU. He has spoken your name, claimed your destiny, and called you to rise in love, light, and purpose. This Christmas, I encourage you:

• Walk boldly in your calling, knowing God’s hand is on you from the womb to this very moment.
• Cherish your faith and keep hope alive in every challenge.
• Use this season as a reminder that your strength comes not from your situation, but from Christ within you.
• Be humble, stay prayerful, and serve others with a joyful heart.
• Remember, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13).

Let’s keep our hearts open and spirits connected—not only to God but to each other. As you journey forward, know you are not alone.
