Bills have under $5M at the trade deadline: Who can they afford? (w/ Spotrac’s Mike Ginnitti)
The Bills have just $4.46 million in cap space with the trade deadline approaching, and many of the top targets carry contracts in the $5–9 million range. Spotrac’s Mike Ginnitti joins Matt Parrino to break down who Brandon Beane can actually afford and how he’d make the money work. They cover the cap levers the Bills could pull, including a Dion Dawkins restructure, and why cheap Eagles contracts like Zack Baun’s and Riq Woolen’s make Philadelphia an ideal trade partner. They also run through safety targets like Amani Hooker and Cam Bynum, whether a Garrett Wilson blockbuster is realistic, and the case for linebacker depth behind Terrel Bernard. Plus: reaction to the Bears’ big defensive trade, and Ginnitti’s prediction for the positions the Bills end up adding. Build your own Bills trade with Spotrac’s NFL Trade Machine at Spotrac.com.
