GE Vernova Gains; Robinhood Declines; SK Hynix Profit Surge
Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- GE Vernova (GEV) shares are gaining after the maker of power generation equipment boosted its revenue forecast for the full year. The company also said it would pay $9 billion to acquire grid equipment supplier Trench Group.
- SY Hynix (KS) shares are moving after it unveiled plans to return about $45 billion more to shareholders after profit surged a stronger-than-expected seven-fold. The company expects shortages of memory chip components to persist through at least 2030 and will invest heavily in expanding capacity.
- Robinhood (HOOD) is declining after the brokerage reported third-quarter earnings per share that missed consensus estimates.Eric Mollo
