Cam Newton vs Mac Jones Heats Up + The Athletic NFL reporter Sheil Kapadia

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a quick thought on the New England Patriots' preseason bludgeoning of the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Cam Newton and Mac Jones played fairly well in the contest, and it's looking like Bill Belichick is going to have a tough time choosing his Week 1 starter. On the flip side, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was pulled minutes before kickoff with a mysterious stomach ailment. Let's just hope we don't have another Tyrod Taylor-type situation on our hands. Later, The Athletic NFL reporter Sheil Kapadia swings by to discuss his rise up the ranks in sports media world, why he expects this to be a one-off season for Jalen Hurts and for the Philadelphia Eagles to target a new quarterback next offseason, the injury bug that has hit the New York Jets even before the season has officially started, why he believes the Tennessee Titans could take a step back even with the addition of Julio Jones, why NFL teams still haven't fully embraced analytics and why it's so important for the front office and the coaching staff to be in lock step in that regard, why he doesn't share Jason's optimism about the New York Giants, why he has Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers as a dark horse Super Bowl contender, and much more!
