Lakers Locked In, Luka-Montrezl Trash Talk & Popovich to Brooklyn?

On today’s episode, Jason takes a verbal victory lap following the Los Angeles Lakers Game 4 beatdown of the Portland Trail Blazers. Did you really expect LeBron James and Anthony Davis to lose to Portland in Round 1? Of course not! Jason also takes us back to his own pickup basketball days to illustrate how frustrating it is that people on social media are trying to turn the Luka Doncic-Montrezl Harrell ‘white boy’ trash talk into something more than it is, and explains why the Milwaukee Bucks should have a healthy fear of the Miami Heat in Round 2. Plus, Jason and Producer Rob tell you why you shouldn’t read too much into the report that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving want Gregg Popovich to be their next head coach – and if you do, just know that it could be the worst NBA coaching hire in recent memory. Finally, Jason hands out another pick that’s bound to cash out at the betting window in the Tuesday edition of the Best Bet.
