The Evolution of James Harden, Russell Wilson Rumors + NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues

On today’s episode, Jason kicks things off by doing into a deep dive into the evolution of James Harden. In basketball, just as in life, there’s no such thing as success or failure; each moment is just a stepping-stone to something else. In Houston, we were quick to call Harden a failure because he was unable to get over the hump and get to the NBA Finals. But maybe, all of the lessons he learned about winning and losing are what led to him evolving into arguably the most indispensable player on the Brooklyn Nets. In fact, you could argue that no player outside of LeBron James effects winning more than Harden. Later, NBA legend Tyrone 'Muggsy' Bogues swings by to discuss how the game has evolved since he played back in the 90s, why he sees current Charlotte Hornets phenom LaMelo Ball as a cross between Jason Kidd and Penny Hardaway, why he's a big fan of the overall point guard play in today's NBA, the obstacles he had to overcome as a 5'3" point guard. both in college and in the NBA, how basketball helped him navigate the inner-cities of Baltimore as a youth, what it was like playing for the #1 high school team in the nation in the early-80s, how the additions of Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson helped turn his Charlotte Hornets squad into one of the most exciting teams of the decade - even if their run ended prematurely, what he's expecting from the Brooklyn Nets trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden, the notion that players from 20 years ago couldn't play in today's NBA, and much more!
