Why the Rams are Like the Chiefs & Former NFL Executive of the Year Randy Mueller

Jason opens things up with a quick reaction to the Los Angeles Rams suffocating victory over the New England Patriots. The Patriots appear set to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008, but more importantly, the Rams look like arguably the most complete team in the NFC. In fact, you can see shades of the Kansas City Chiefs with how varied and explosive their offense is. Later, former NFL Executive of the Year and The Athletic podcast host Randy Mueller swings by to explain why he's not surprised by the Miami Dolphins' quick turnaround from last year to this year, why the authenticity of Brian Flores and Joe Judge is the biggest reason why they've been able to buck the trend of failed Bill Belichick disciples, why it's so important for the front office and the head coach to be aligned on the type of team they're trying to build - which is the biggest reason why the Cleveland Browns are thriving and the Dallas Cowboys are floundering, how Nick Saban was able to bring the best out of him as an executive when the two were together with the Dolphins, why's pessimistic that Jim Harbaugh will be back in the NFL next season but optimistic about the return of Marvin Lewis, why he's been a little surprised to see Andy Reid disciples Matt Nagy and Doug Pederson struggle so much the past seasons, why John Elway's decision not to draft Josh Allen was so shocking to him, and much more! Finally, Jason closes the show with another multi-pack edition of the Best Bet.
