John 5: Ghost, Guitar, and Going 50 for 50

Guitar virtuoso John 5 returns to talk all about his brand-new instrumental album, Ghost! He shares the inspiration behind the record, how he wrote and recorded every track live in one take, and why he wanted it to feel like an old-school performance from the 1930s and ’40s. He details the incredible lineup of musicians who played on the album including Gregg and Matt Bissonette, former Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins, and Marco Minnemann, and explains why he took a Steely Dan approach to matching each player to the perfect song. John also talks about his upcoming co-headlining tour with Richie Kotzen, and his insane plan to play 50 shows in 50 states in 50 days! Plus, he’s got Mötley Crüe stories, and the reason why he plays Mick Mars’ iconic solos note-for-note!
