Take 5 with Alan Angels

Alan Angels has nothing but great memories and things to say about his time in AEW! He explains how the pandemic was a blessing in disguise for his career, how he was recruited to the Dark Order, what happened when Brodie Lee joined AEW and became their leader, and what kind of impact Brodie made on Alan’s career and personal growth as a wrestler. Alan details Brodie Lee’s initial reaction to the Dark Order BTE bits, and shares a few of his favorite skits. He talks about learning from some of the best in the business including Pac, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, and wrestling Bryan Danielson on Dynamite in his hometown with his girlfriend and dad sitting at ringside. He also shares the circumstances leading up to his match on Dynamite with Kenny Omega, and what it was like to shoot the 30-plus Dynamite matches just before the pandemic lockdown forced the live AEW shows to shut down. Alan discusses training with QT Marshall at the Nightmare Factory, working Bill Dundee and Tommy Rich on the indies, his recent match with Mike Bailey for the Impact X Division Championship, and his plans for the future now that he’s no longer with AEW.Thank you to our sponsors!FanDuel: download the FanDuel app, use promo code JERICHO, and place a $5 dollar bet to get $150 in FREE bets!SlingTV: check out https://www.sling.com/ for special offers Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro: learn more at https://www.samsung.com/us/STAY CONNECTED:TikTok: @TalkIsJerichoInstagram: @talkisjericho @chrisjerichofozzyTwitter: @TalkIsJericho @IAmJerichoYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChrisJerichoFozzyhttps://www.webisjericho.com/
