The Stardom & Storm of Mariah May

Mariah May is the newest AEW signee, and says the chance to work with Toni Storm was too good to pass up. The former Stardom star tells the story about being contacted directly by Tony Khan, what he said to convince her to move from Japan to the States, and how she managed to keep it mostly secret. The UK native speaks to the differences between British, Japanese, and American wrestling, what drew her to Japan in the first place, and how she ended up staying for the better part of a year. She talks about the dojo, the Club Venus faction, her mentor and friend Mina Shirakawa, and having 99 matches in 9 months. She also reveals what she loves most about the Japanese culture and food, what she misses most about life in Japan, and how her parents reacted to news of her AEW signing.
