LSU's Walker Howard could help get Ole Miss football back on schedule

Ole Miss football is already kicking the tires on Walker Howard, the now-former LSU quarterback who entered the NCAA Transfer Portal this week.

Howard perfectly fits the criteria for what Lane Kiffin and staff have sought, for months, in a potential No. 2 quarterback behind starter Jaxson Dart. Even more, the Rebels have a built-in relationship with Howard that dates back to their heated pursuit of the one-time four-star last recruiting cycle.

Howard was ranked as a Top 50 prospect nationally, as well as the No. 6 quarterback.

The Ole Miss Spirit's Ben Garrett and Zach Berry discuss the possibility in this recruiting-filled edition of Talk of Champions. Additional topics include Lane Kiffin's contract terms, the Ole Miss re-recruitment of Austin Keys and much, much more.
