SMU’s Alex Brown was hired to a prominent Ole Miss football recruiting role. So, who is he?

Sixth-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin last week moved to bring Alex Brown, formerly of SMU, on-staff in a ‘high-ranking personnel and recruiting role.’

Effectively, he’s replacing Austin Thomas.

Thomas is the Rebels’ now-former General Manager. He left earlier in the off-season to return to LSU.

What can Ole Miss fans expect from Brown? On3’s Billy Embody knows Brown as well as anyone. And today Embody joins the Ole Miss Spirit’s Zach Berry in an all-new edition of The Flagship, powered by College Corner.
