Velvet Ditch Dispatch: Basketball sizzles as baseball fizzles over an eventful Ole Miss weekend

Welcome to the ‘Velvet Ditch Dispatch,’ a new addition to the Talk of Champions podcast network, and powered by College Corner and USA Benefits Group.

In today’s episode, Zach Berry of the Ole Miss Spirit/On3 and Grayson Weir of BroBible make heads or tails of an eventful weekend in Rebel sports, specifically basketball and baseball. Chris Beard’s Rebels rallied over Missouri on Saturday to keep alive their NCAA Tournament hopes. Mike Bianco and Co., however, inspired little confidence with a season-opening split in Hawaii.

The Ole Miss Spirit is a website designed specifically for — and, daily, uniquely catered to — the most diehard Rebel fan. Subscription plans run as low as $1 for a single month. CLICK ON THIS LINK to join today one of the liveliest and longest-running Ole Miss online communities around.
