What Chambliss said — and Lacy didn’t — told the story at the Manning Center
Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy didn’t offer any hints about their respective Ole Miss futures on Monday.
The pair was among the players who visited with local media to open game week for the College Football Playoff. Chambliss said he’d consider all possibilities should he receive a waiver from the NCAA for an additional season of eligibility.
A phone call circulated on social media last week of now-former Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin claiming running backs coach Kevin Smith and Lacy, the Rebels’ star running back, would be following him to LSU.
Ben Garrett and Brad Logan of the Ole Miss Spirit discussed at length what was learned the Manning Center, which included an extensive conversation with Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding.
