David Lowery with James Ponsoldt

On the latest episode of the Talkhouse Podcast, director James Ponsoldt sits down with longtime friend David Lowery, whose new movie, The Old Man and the Gun starring Robert Redford and an all-star supporting cast, just opened in theaters. In a conversation recorded at Soho House in Los Angeles, Lowery talks with Ponsoldt about reteaming with Redford on the legendary actor's final movie, his memorable phone conversations with Tom Waits, the joy of making movies with old cars, using the Kinks' “Lola” (at great cost!), the surprising influence of Robocop on the film, and much, much more.
