The Big Ten’s FCS Coaching Gamble Is BACKFIRING | Rutgers Disaster, Illinois Warning Signs

Big Ten football news: Rutgers football collapses against UMass, Illinois has major defensive concerns vs UAB, and Minnesota rolls behind Drake Lindsey and PJ Fleck. We break down Greg Schiano, Caden Houser, Khalil Valentine and more.

The first Thursday night of Big Ten football exposed some major differences between these programs. Illinois showed plenty of offensive explosiveness but struggled to tackle and stop UAB's rushing attack. Minnesota looked much more comfortable as Drake Lindsey, Javon Tracy and the Gophers delivered an encouraging opener.

Jon Rhoades and Zack also discuss the developing Lane Kiffin/LSU situation involving former NFL players potentially returning to college football.
