We Responded to the William Lane Craig Controversy

From The Caffeinated Christian The Caffeinated Christian

William Lane Craig has made a controversial statement about the doctrine of the eternal generation of the Son—and Christians have had some VERY strong reactions. In this episode of The Caffeinated Christian, Mike and Ryan take a closer look at Craig's comments, the theology behind the controversy, and the question underneath it all: How much disagreement can Christians have over the doctrine of the Trinity while still remaining within historic Christian orthodoxy? We’ll look at what Craig actually said, why some Christians strongly object to his position, and why others believe the disagreement is more nuanced than social media often makes it appear. This isn't about dunking on William Lane Craig—or blindly defending him. We're trying to slow the conversation down, examine the theology, and ask better questions.
