Colin Cowherd Podcast - Damian Lillard on Portland Loyalty, McCollum Relationship, Future

Colin explains the similarities between Kyrie Irving and Aaron Rodgers, why people shouldn't freak out over Elon Musk buying Twitter, if Jay Wright should entertain NBA coaching offers, and if Jerry West shouldn’t be so irate about his Winning Time portrayal.

Then, 6-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard joins Colin to discuss why he’s stayed loyal to Portland in an era of NBA player movement (22:00), why so many elite point guards come from small schools (25:00), if stars should take less to build a better roster (28:00), if he would accept a lesser role later in his career (31:00), if he’s bothered by social media criticism (33:00), his reaction to seeing his longtime teammate and friend CJ McCollum get traded (41:00), his first encounter with a trash talking Jordan Poole (45:00), why he’s so tight with Draymond Green (48:00), how he’s handled teammates that don’t love the game like him (50:00), his process for writing a song (55:00), and if he’s fully recovered from his abdominal injury that caused him to miss most of the season.
