23: Mike King (Part 1)

Mike king was named New Zealander of the year in 2019 for his work as a mental health advocate.This is one hell of a conversation. I would say it’s the whole Mike King story but, truth be told, I feel like we just scratched the surface.

In this wide ranging chat Mike gives us the exclusive details of a run based fundraiser he is embarking on in 2023.We talk about his life- the early years, his life as a chef and how he became NZs most popular comedian. In the last quarter we get into the mental health stuff, and we go real deep on that stuff in part 2.
