Around the NHL with Elliotte Friedman: A New Cowboy in Town

Matt Marchese and Mike Futa open the show with a look back on Tuesday’s busy NHL schedule with Elliotte Friedman, Sportsnet insider and host of 32 Thoughts. They dive into the Maple Leafs’ dominant 6-2 win in Columbus with thoughts on Easton Cowan’s development, Auston Matthews’ new life this season, and the Blue Jackets’ flat performance at home. The guys also touch on the red-hot Oilers, Dylan Larkin expanding his trade list to ten teams, the battle for the Canadiens’ crease, and the Kings’ recording their first win of the season. Friedge wraps up with a discussion about the early injuries around the league, before setting the stage for Brady Tkachuk’s return to Ottawa to face his former team.
