Matt Marchese and Mike Futa open with thoughts on today’s developing news of the New Jersey Devils nearing a trade to acquire Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Elliotte Friedman, Sportsnet NHL insider and host of 32 Thoughts, joins the conversation to discuss how the deal came together and some early details he’s able to share. The guys also look into the Oilers’ 6-5 win over the Hurricanes, Connor McDavid’s ridiculous scoring pace recording 31 points through ten games, and preview Edmonton’s upcoming battle within the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
