Where & When Shane Bieber Fits In

Ben and Brent reset on the Blue Jays at the start the second hour to look at what this past postseason-caliber series with the Dodgers showed us. The hosts examine the starters that took the mound for Toronto and chat about if their performances somehow changed the conversation of who should start come playoff time. The duo also add to the equation Toronto’s deadline acquisition of Shane Bieber following another impressive outing in AAA. Should it be his last start for Buffalo? Could prospect Trey Yesavage also play into Blue Jays season plans? B&B then weigh in on a curious celebration by Carlos Correa back in an Astros uniform. To close the hour, the boys head down to Buffalo and check in Pat Malacaro (26:50), voice of the Bisons, to get a firsthand account of Bieber’s outing this weekend, before discussing the importance the AAA team has had on the success of the Jays this season.
