Will the Battle Become a War?

Ben and Brent take The FAN Morning Show into the final hour of the week fully hyped for the 2025 "Battle of Ontario". They share their expectations for the series with a look at the goaltending for both sides and the players they believe could make a big impact. The hosts head to Ottawa and check in with former NHLer, Jason York (21:57), who played in a Maple Leafs vs. Senators series back in the early 2000s. The co-host of Coming in Hot weighs in on Ottawa’s chances in the series, the elements that got them to the playoffs, and who will need to step up to upset Toronto. Later, B&B check in with someone who played in multiple "Battles of Ontario", Shayne Corson (35:00). The former Leaf recounts the animosity between the two sides back then, before sharing how excited both cities should feel to have a new chapter of the rivalry.
