Erik Ezukanma: “I Just Want to Play Football”

Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Erik Ezukanma joins O.J. McDuffie and Seth Levit for an honest conversation about his journey from Miami to the UFL—and his hopeful path back to the NFL.

Ezukanma reflects on his time with the Dolphins, learning from a loaded wide receiver room, and the challenges of injuries and finding his role. Now with the DC Defenders, he shares how he’s embracing every opportunity to showcase his game, from making plays on offense to delivering tone-setting hits on special teams.

The guys also dive into what went wrong with Miami’s once-explosive offense, the importance of staying hungry in the NFL, and what Erik has learned about maturity, preparation, and perseverance along the way.
