Sure, It’s Bad… But These Ain’t the 2019 Dolphins | Fish Tank x DolphinsTalk Crossover

The Miami Dolphins are 0-2, the losses haven’t been pretty, and frustration is already boiling over. But are the comparisons to the infamous 2019 "Tank for Tua" Dolphins really fair?

O.J. McDuffie, Seth Levit and DolphinsTalk’s Mike Oliva reunite for another Fish Tank x DolphinsTalk Crossover to break down what’s actually happening with this young Dolphins roster — and why it may be way too early to start burning everything down.

The guys examine the biggest differences between this rebuild and 2019, what Malik Willis is really dealing with behind a struggling offensive line and inexperienced receiving corps, and why Miami’s inability to generate a pass rush could be one of the biggest concerns on the entire roster.

They also discuss Jeff Hafley and Bobby Slowik through two games, the disappointing play in the trenches, costly special teams mistakes, whether Austin Jackson’s job should be in jeopardy, and why making declarations about Willis — or already looking ahead to Arch Manning and the 2027 NFL Draft — makes little sense in September.

The Dolphins may not be good right now. Nobody is pretending otherwise. But as Juice puts it: “Everybody just chill the hell out.”

Is this simply a young team going through growing pains, or have you already seen enough to be concerned about the direction of the rebuild?
