Fizz does the biz, young investors choose LX and Cascais, & digital life after death

On Tuesday 6th October 2026, Carl Munson’s Good Morning Portugal! news follows the return of the wine club with a feature on Portugal’s sparkling wines (espumante), and notes that Parliament’s proposal to restrict social media for minors is likely to be voted on this month: parental consent for ages 13–16 and a ban on accounts for under-13s.
Other headlines include Lisbon and Cascais being named among top destinations for wealthy young investors, EDP completing an €18 million energy project in Évora, Prime Minister Luís Montenegro addressing the European Parliament, Carla Esteves being appointed director-general of Unimark, a 24-year-old firefighter dying after being run over by a water tank in Paredes, a new process for recovering citizen-card PINs, and hundreds waiting three years for energy-efficiency support.
Guest Steven Shewach returns to discuss digital life after death. Thunderstorms are still in the forecast.
