Uphold has launched Vault Inheritance, a feature that lets Uphold Vault customers designate beneficiaries for Bitcoin, XRP, and Hedera holdings. After a customer's death, Uphold verifies the required legal documentation before transferring the assets to the beneficiary's Uphold wallet. Until the claim is approved, the beneficiary has no access to the assets. The feature costs $19.99 per month, with a free 30-day trial for U.S. users.
