Episode 102 - Pat Ferschweiler

On this episode of the Hockey Think Tank podcast, we bring on Associate Head Coach of the Western Michigan Broncos Pat Ferschweiler. If you are a kid that wants to play college hockey...this is the episode to listen to! In this episode we give you an inside look into college hockey recruiting. What it takes to get there, what coaches look for, and we bring you behind the scenes of what coaches do in identifying and landing players. Fersch also spent times as an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings...and he has an UNREAL story about Pavel Datsyuk that will knock your socks off (HINT: he works really hard). This is an inspiring episode, that really peels back the onion of youth hockey, college hockey, pro hockey, and more.
