Sweep Patrol with Jovo-Cop

As we wait for Game 4 for the Maple Leafs on Wednesday, JD Bunkis starts the show focusing on the battle between the Lakers and Warriors and why he has expected more from the LeBron-Steph showdown. Turning his attention back to hockey, he welcomes longtime NHL defenceman and now Panthers analyst, Ed Jovanovski to get his thoughts on the series and if he’s surprised Toronto hasn’t shown more. The 2002 Olympic gold medalist tells some stories from his playoffs experience and gives some insight on what players on both teams are feeling heading into what could be potentially the last game. "Jovo-Cop" also talks what the excitement in Florida is like around the Panthers, the energy in the building with traveling Toronto fans. Ed was also the 1994 first overall pick in the NHL draft, so he also offers some thoughts on what Connor Bedard faces coming in as the consensus top player (11:23). Today's show ends as always with JD’s best bets, sponsored by Betano (47:23) . In the podcast-only portion of the show, JD breaks down Jo’s new social media profile picture, the playoff action around the NBA, and more (50:12)!
