Lil Duval Is Building His Own Hollywood (Part 1)

Lil Duval sits down with Loren LoRosa to talk about his next chapter as a filmmaker, producer, and independent creator. Duval and Swirl Films producer Eric share the story behind Camp Duval, a new horror-comedy inspired by the real-life world of Camp Duval, and explain why they’re betting on creating directly for the audience instead of waiting for Hollywood’s approval. Duval also opens up about building platforms for new talent, the business behind independent filmmaking, HBCU culture, and why he sees himself as the Dolemite of his generation.
